Tandem Ministries (the new name for the NZ Ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ) is an interdenominational Christian ministry that seeks to help people reach their world with the good news of Jesus.
God has given everyone a sphere of influence, whether it be on a university campus, in the workplace or in a community. Our desire is to come alongside you to help you reach your world.
If every believer were to reach just one other person per year, the multiplied impact would see the entire world reached in a few short years. However, none of us can do this alone.
Global Vision
We have partnerships in other areas of the world including Fiji, Thailand, East Asia, Europe and the Middle East where students, graduates, volunteers and staff are helping people reach their nation for Christ.
Together we can be a part of seeing spiritual movements develop everywhere so that everyone will know someone who is truly following Jesus.
History
In 1951 one couple, Bill and Vonette Bright, stepped out in faith to begin Campus Crusade for Christ at UCLA in Los Angeles. In their first year over 250 students came to know Christ and the movement began.
Their rallying cry was ‘reach the campus today, win the world tomorrow’. They recognised that university students were the future influencers of society.
As this student movement grew, it rapidly spread to other campuses and to many other sectors of society. Today Campus Crusade for Christ International (CCCI) has ministries in over 190 countries.
In Tandem Ministries we are proud to continue this legacy.
